Pulelehua Vision – Your Voices Create a CommunityAffordable Home Ownership for West Maui's Working FamiliesIn 2004, Maui Land & Pineapple, Inc. (ML&P) brought together over 600 community members, planners and government representatives in a series of meetings and design sessions. The goal: to envision a new holistic community that would foster an authentic sense of place, respect our fragile 'aina and provide a vital and sustaining life experience for residents. What you expressed from the heart has become the vision for Pulelehua. Pulelehua will be for people who work on West Maui and are eager to spend more time with their families in a community within their financial reach. Genuine neighborhoods. A place where folks can walk and interact with their neighbors. Where 'ohana is part of daily life. Landscaping, climate, beautiful views and outdoor life will encourage our unique style of Hawai'i living.
