I Support Pulelehua Because...

Pulelehua is envisioned to be a community "for the working families of West Maui." Pulelehua intends to offer at least 51 percent of its homes as affordable, with units for sale and rent to families making up to 160 percent of Maui County's median income. Pulelehua plans to include an elementary school, parks and trails, biking and walking paths, pedestrian-friendly streets, a lively town center and inviting accessible public places. Pulelehua addresses the need for smart growth and reasonably priced housing for working families of West Maui, while being sensitive to the environment through the preservation of open space.

My electronic signature below signifies my support of Pulelehua and I urge the Maui County Land Use Committee and the County Council to approve this much needed community as quickly as possible.
